All pre-licensing providers must have prior approval by the board. Any educator not listed on this site does not have such approval.
Pursuant to 831 KAR 2:040 Section 2, all board-approved pre-licensing training courses must be taught face-to-face. However, during the state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, virtual pre-licensing training courses were allowed. Though the state of emergency has been lifted, the Board voted at its March 2022 meeting to allow the continuation of virtual pre-licensing training courses until further action of the Board. Accordingly, virtual pre-licensing training courses are currently allowed.
